Face yoga, aging without surgery!
The face is made up of 43 different facial muscles that are responsible for a multitude of face expressions. Over time, these muscles lose tone and shape. Face gymnastics, also known as face yoga is another creative way to lift your skin tone and shine even if a little more time-consuming.
To practice this face yoga, you simply need to perform about ten muscle-strengthening exercises, such as pursing your lips while smiling or pulling your forehead up while looking at the tips of your feet. All this will make your face smoother and tighter. Another gesture to put into practice is to gently massage the skin tissue with well selected moisturizing oils in order to reduce the most visible wrinkles.
Dermatologists are currently just a few interested in studying the impact of facial gymnastics on the quality of the skin. The unique research was carried on in 2018 at Northwestern University, USA, proved that practicing approx. 30 minutes of face yoga per day for 20 weeks makes the face firmer and reduces wrinkle depth.
